Summertime bite is Hot!
The trout bite has been pretty steady on deeper drop offs and shell. Fishing under birds in the main lake has been good when the wind allows but the average size of the fish found under the birds has been small. There have been better fish deep if you can get a bait past the little guys. Redfish are good in the marsh but hit or miss in the main lake and channel. When we have found them in the lake they are solid upper slot fish like this 9+ lber. c...aught by Eric Ronning.
