Feather Fever Due to Strike!
October 18, 2014 by Brad Beaulieu
The PRO team has been busy almost everyday getting things ready here on the ranch. The work never seems to end! Tuning up the boats and grooming the habitat is only part of what the guys have been working on. We've been busy adding new blinds, brushing up and repairing the old ones, as well as updating a new location for meeting hunters and processing birds. Each visit to the marsh reveals more and more ducks arriving each day. Most people think cold weather drives the migrations however the shortened daylight hours are what actually cues the birds to head south and as we all know the days are defintely getting shorter! We're seeing good numbers of blue wing teal, shovelers, and scattered groups of pintail, gadwall, and wood ducks. We've also had a few scattered reports of geese in the area as well. With increasing cool weather building up north we'll soon be feeling the feather fever hitting us all!
Coming soon we'll have an online view of our available dates. Feel free to contact us in the meantime to reserve your hunt!
