Duck Hunting report

Everyone that hunts waterfowl loves a good sunrise.  This was the view over my left shoulder this morning at Pipkin Ranch.  We hunted in big open water and found easy limits of gadwall, teal, canvasbacks, redheads and ring necks.  Had we wanted to do it we could have easily finished our limits before sunrise.  Lots of birds and they were working to the decoys well.  It was obvious a lot of new birds arrived during the night.  After knocking down three birds on my first shot I knew we needed to be a little picky or it would be over way to fast.  We held out for easy shots and still finished by 8am! The weather is great and the birds are here.  Give us a call to set up a hunt.
